The House of Representatives Candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) for Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Engr. Toheeb Adegoke ADLAT, has congratulated Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on the successful rescue of all pupils, teachers and other victims abducted during the recent attack in Oriire Local Government Area.
In a statement made available to journalists on Friday, ADLAT described the safe return of the victims as a moment of relief for the people of Oyo State, noting that the development has restored hope to affected families and reaffirmed confidence in the government’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
The APM candidate commended Governor Makinde for his calm leadership throughout the period of uncertainty, stating that the governor remained focused on achieving a peaceful resolution while working closely with security agencies. He equally praised the gallantry and professionalism of the security operatives whose coordinated efforts led to the successful rescue of the victims.
According to him, the outcome demonstrates that purposeful leadership, effective collaboration among security agencies, and unwavering commitment to the safety of citizens can produce meaningful results, even in the most difficult circumstances.
“The successful rescue of all the victims is a victory for humanity and a source of great relief to every parent and every resident of Oyo State. I congratulate His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for his steadfast leadership throughout this challenging period. ADLAT urged residents of the state to continue supporting security agencies with credible information capable of preventing future security threats, stressing that security remains a collective responsibility.
He also prayed for the continued peace, stability and progress of Oyo State, expressing hope that such unfortunate incidents would never reoccur anywhere within the state.
