The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has commenced the third phase of road grading across various communities within the local government area, as part of efforts to improve road accessibility ahead of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

As part of this phase 3, grading works have been carried out on key roads, including Alhaji Okunade Road, Orile Community, Alafiatayo Street, Hon. Akinteye Road and the SOA Road linking the DSS Office alongside other adjoining and surrounding roads.

This new phase of the grading exercise follows the successful completion of earlier interventions which received widespread commendation from residents across Ibarapa Central. The Chairman noted that the initiative was also driven by feedback and additional requests from community members who called for more roads to be attended to.

Speaking on the development, Hon. Olusola Adeleke reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to responsive and people-oriented governance, emphasizing that the needs and voices of the people remain top priorities.

“We carefully listened to the feedback from our people after the previous grading exercise and we are pleased to fulfill their requests. This Phase 3 is a direct response to the yearnings of our communities, especially as we approach the festive period when movement and activities increase,” he stated.

The Chairman further assured residents that the road grading exercise would cover key strategic areas to ease transportation, support local economic activities and enhance the overall well-being of the people.

Residents across the benefiting communities have expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that improved road conditions will significantly ease movement, reduce transportation challenges and contribute to a more comfortable festive season.

The Phase 3 grading exercise is yet another demonstration of Hon. Olusola Adeleke’s dedication to grassroots development and his resolve to deliver impactful projects that directly improve the lives of the people of Ibarapa Central Local Government.
