Residents of Ward 8, Isale Oba expressed joy and appreciation as the Phase 2 of the ongoing road grading exercise across Ibarapa Central Local Government reached key routes within the ward, notably Onikeke Road, oja oba road and Asako Farm Settlement Road.

The intervention, spearheaded by the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke has rekindled hope among residents who have endured years of neglect and poor road conditions in the affected areas.

Speaking on behalf of the community, renowned Islamic scholar Sheu Yakubu Onikeke expressed profound gratitude for the intervention.

He noted that the roads had been neglected for a long time, causing hardship for residents and farmers.

He described the grading exercise as timely and impactful, offering prayers for continued strength, wisdom and success for Hon. Olusola Adeleke as he continues to serve the people.

In a separate remark, the councillor representing Ward 8, Hon. Yakubu Salami, commended the Executive Chairman for his responsive and inclusive leadership.

He praised Hon. Adeleke for extending development initiatives to grassroots communities and ensuring that long-abandoned roads receive attention under the Phase 2 road grading programme.

The road grading exercise forms part of the Chairman’s broader commitment to improving rural connectivity, supporting agricultural activities, and delivering tangible dividends of democracy across all wards in Ibarapa Central.
