A former Minority Leader of the 7th Oyo Assembly, Hon Adekunle Tunji Rafiu JP described the late former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi as a leader whose impact will outlive many generations in the years ahead.
Hon Adekunle stated this in a statement to commemorate the 76th posthumous birthday of the late former Governor who passed away in 2020.

to celebrate a life, a legacy that won’t fade, late Dr Abiola Ajimobi, a leader true,
our former Governor, forever in our view.
“With vision, dedication, and a heart of gold,he led Oyo State, his story to be told,
a champion of progress, a hero of might,
his impact remains, a guiding light.
“As the 7th Assembly, we honour his name,with Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu, we proclaim,
his legacy lives on, a treasure rare,
a shining star, that will forever shine.
“Happy birthday, Dr Ajimobi, may your soul rest,may your memory be a blessing, and your legacy be blessed.
“May your inspiration guide us, as we strive and thrive, in Oyo State, your impact will survive.”
