AJIMOBI’S MEDIA AIDE APPEAL TO MAKINDE TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF THEIR OUTSTANDING FURNITURE ALLOWANCE

Former Head of Mitv/Star FM Ibadan and Ex Special Assistant to the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, Elder Kayode Bamiduro has made a passionate appeal to the State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde to approve the payment of their outstanding furniture allowances as approved by the late Governor.

In a statement in Ibadan, Bamiduro said the appeal became necessary in view of the delay in the payment of the said allowances despite several emissaries and representations made to the Governor by the affected former political appointees.

He added that, he is emboldened to approach the Governor to ask for the release of the money, first because it was a statutory entitlements which he has paid to his appointees and secondly because he has been part of his media team in 2015 and he worked tirelessly for him then.

“GSM is somebody I know to be very kind hearted and generous to people. Beside that he is ever considerate who will not ordinarily want to hurt anyone”, the Veteran journalist added.

Elder Bamiduro said, in politics there is no permanent enemies or friends. “We meet to part and part to meet”. “Nobody knows what would happen in 2023”.

He said he was one of the people that advised him in 2015 not to contest in SDP for the 2019 election because the party was not well known though he as a person has goodwill among the people of the State.

While appealing to the Governor to sholve aside politics and pay the allowances to the former Aides of the late Governor, he reminded the Governor that such steps would portray him as a leader that is not vindictive, moreso that he has paid same to his own appointees.

Bamiduro, who also commisirated with the Governor over the death of Engineer Lere Adigun of Sahara Engineering Company, prayed for God’s guidance in the day to day running of his Administration.
