As part of effort to improve the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of Akinyele Local Government, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Akinwole Akinleye on Tuesday played host to the Oyo State IGR Consultants at the council’s secretariat, Moniya, Ibadan.
A statement by the media aide to the Executive Chairman, Ogundipe Miracle, the meeting was aimed at discussing ways of improving the council’s internally generated revenue.
Hon Wole Akinleye promised to be accountable and transparent with the revenues generated from the council stating that lack of transparency has hindered the growth and development of Akinyele Local Government.
In his remarks, Mr Olabode Ajetunmobi, who led the ITC Consultants’ team to the Chairman’s office lauded Hon Akinleye for his proactiveness and readiness to improve the IGR of the Local Government and promised the Chairman of his Company’s support.
The meeting was attended by Vice-Chairman, House Leader and other top government functionaries.
