Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, has been appointed as the coordinator, Ibadan South East Local Government Campaign Directorate for the Alliance Peoples Movement (APM) Governorship and Presidential Campaign.
The appointment was contained in an official release made available to the press and signed on Monday, 28th September 2026, by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, the Coordinator of the APM Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Oyo State APM Governorship Campaign Council.
The appointment places Hon. Alawode at the forefront of coordinating and driving the party’s campaign activities across Ibadan South East Local Government, in preparation for the forthcoming governorship and presidential elections.
Hon. Alawode, a grassroots-focused political leader, is expected to bring his experience, organisational capacity and strong community engagement to the new assignment as the APM intensifies its mobilisation across the local government and Oyo State.
The appointment is being received as a significant development in the party’s campaign structure, with Hon. Alawode now saddled with the responsibility of coordinating the local campaign machinery and ensuring effective grassroots engagement in Ibadan South East.
