A successful leader, with integrity, accountability, vision, and self-awareness, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode (Arole Omituntun), the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government has been honoured with Distinguished Service Award by the Pacesetter Magazine in recognition of his leadership and enormous contribution to the progress of Ibadan South East Local Government.
The award was bestowed on him at a well-attended Annual Lecture Series and award presentation by Pacesetters Magazine held at NUJ Press Centre, Iyaganku.
Saying that the awardee was deserving of the honour, the CEO of the Magazine, Chief Demola Babalola emphasised that Hon. Alawode has proven to be a standout for his achievements and unwavering commitment to the community development.
Receiving the award, the Chairman expressed his happiness at the recognition, appreciated the Almighty God and the Governor of Oyo State, Engr Oluseyi Makinde for giving him the privilege to serve humanity and the people of Ibadan South East Local Government.
He thanked the organizer of the programme, assuring the people that the award would spur him to double his efforts in delivering the dividends of democracy.
Hon. Alawode was presented with the well-deserved award by the member, House of Representative, Hon. Engr. Aderemi Oseni in the presence of Ambassador Yemi Farounbi, member, Federal House of Representative, Hon. Adedeji Olajide (Odidi omo)the CEO of Brail Constructions, Engr. Dr Babatunde Lawal and amongst other guests.
