The Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, has heartily commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Seyi Makinde, for his unwavering commitment to the safety and security of lives and property, following the successful rescue of the abducted students from Oriire.
Hon. Alawode described the Governor’s prompt intervention, strategic support for security agencies, and steadfast leadership throughout the rescue operation as a demonstration of responsible governance and genuine concern for the welfare of the people of Oyo State.
He also applauded the gallant efforts of the security agencies whose professionalism, courage, and collaboration ensured the safe release of the students, bringing relief and joy to their families and the entire state.
The Chairman noted that the successful operation further reinforces the confidence of residents in Governor Makinde’s administration and its continuous investment in strengthening the state’s security architecture.
Hon. Alawode urged residents to remain vigilant, cooperate with security agencies by providing timely and useful information, and continue to support government efforts aimed at maintaining peace and security across Oyo State.
