Hon. Emmanuel Oluwole Alawode, the Executive Chairman of Ibadan South East Local Government, attended the NYSC Sports Programme organized for corps members serving in Ibadan South East Local Government, held at the Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan. The event featured several sporting activities and competitions, including football, races, and other games aimed at promoting unity, teamwork, and physical fitness among corps members.
Speaking at the event, the Local Government Inspector (LGI), Mrs. Ayodele Solomon, appreciated the Chairman for his love, unwavering commitment, and unrelenting support towards the NYSC scheme and the welfare of corps members in the Local Government. She described Hon. Alawode as a dynamic and people-oriented Chairman whose exemplary leadership, dedication, and passion for the growth and well-being of the people continue to inspire excellence, unity, and progress within the council area.
Hon. Alawode, while addressing the corps members, commended them for their active participation and encouraged them to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to contributing positively to the development of their host communities and the nation at large. He reiterated his administration’s continuous support for youth development, sports, and initiatives that foster unity and healthy living.
Accompanying the Chairman to the programme were the Chief Whip of the Legislative Arm of Ibadan South East Local Government, Hon. Akeem Alarape; Supervisor for Works, Hon. Saheed Azeez; Chairman of Ward 8, Hon. Ademola Oyetunde; Chairman of Ward 5, Hon. Kehinde Olayiwola; Director of Education and Social Services, Mrs. Victoria Modupe Orotoye, alongside other dignitaries and stakeholders.
