    Amofin Adeoye Delivers 7th Chrisland Convocation Lecture As 44 Out Of 252 Graduands Bag First Class

    Amofin Beulah Adeoye has delivered the 7th Convocation Lecture of the Chrisland University located in Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State.

    Amofin Adeoye in his lecture titled “Breaking New Frontiers: Knowledge, Innovation and Impact” charged 252 graduands of the University to be pioneers, innovators and problem solvers.

    He told 252 graduates across faculties that their journey in life commenced as they stepped out of the Convocation hall. He challenged them to measure their lives with problems they solved, people they lifted up and integrity they upheld when no one was watching, positive change they brought to family, community and nation at large. He admonished them not to seek a job alone but a mission and not to seek success alone but prioritise significance they will make.


    Amofin Adeoye reminded graduands that breaking frontiers is about the excellence and innovative ideas they put into details of the work assigned to them and deliver maximally. He urged them to always add values to organisation they find themselves to attain its maximum capacity, excel and impact the world. Amofin Adeoye said the journey ahead is not only for graduands alone but for the larger society.

    He said Chrisland University has established itself as a beacon of excellence and moral fortitude. He commended the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Oladunni Sola Arulogun for sustaining the legacy of its founder.

    “The knowledge you gained has taught you how to think; you must act. Chrisland class of 2025, go from this university and be pioneers, innovators and problem solvers to take the intellectual rectitude you have been given and light up the world. You are the future of Nigeria, the future of the world and the global community is waiting for you to make positive changes. Society will respond to the value you bring to them not the certificate. Whatever you are assigned to do, do it professionally”.

    Amofin Adeoye thanked the Chancellor, High Chief Winifred Awosika for nurturing her vision into reality. He said High Chief Awosika was deliberate about her penchant for academic excellence which pushed her to establish Chrisland University which has grown from 57 students at inception to over 1700 students currently.

    Present at the Convocation ceremony were; Pro-Chancellor, Prof. Ayodeji Olukoju, Commissioner for Education in Ogun State, Prof. Arigbabu, traditional leaders among others.

    On the entourage of Amofin Adeoye were; Prof Sifau Adejumo, Dr. Steve Awoleye, Mr. Ridwan Fasasi , Mr. Tobi Ayanlola, Chief Ajewole, Mr. Popoola and Ms. Morenikeji Bayegun.
