As part of measures to put an end to incessant killings of innocent residents in their domains, the Caretaker Chairman of Akinyele Local Government, Hon Taoreed Adedigba has deployed a team from his council to Oloro area, Kara village where Barakat was reportedly raped and killed.
Hon Taoreed Adedigba who was unavoidably absent due to state assignment was ably represented by two of his aides,Segun Peter and Atilola Sogo who supervised the clearing of bushes surrounding houses in the community.
On his part, a royal father, the Alakinyele of Akinyele land, Oba James Oluyemi Odeniran lauded Taoreed Adedigba for being proactive and sensitive to issues at hand. Oba Odeniran said he was impressed by the initiative embarked upon by the chairman, describing the chairman as a man who keeps to promises as his leader, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The royal father added that clearing of bushes residential areas would automatically reduce crime rates in the local government.
