    Hon Olayanju Hails Gov Makinde For Approving Selection of Monarchs For Igbeti Land

    A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Qozeem Olayanju has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for approving the selection of monarchs for Igbeti land in Olorunsogo Local Government.

    Olayanju who represented Olorunsogo State Constituency at the 9th Oyo Assembly lauded the Governor for allowing the wish and the will of the people to prevail in the selection processes.

    According to him, “Governor Seyi Makinde’s commitment to justice, unity and the cultural heritage of Igbetiland is truly commendable.

    Olayanju who is the chairmanship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Olorunsogo Local Government in the 2024 council poll said, Prince Bashir Olalekan Abioye emerged as the next Onigbeti of Igbeti land, Chief Fatai Surajudeen Olapoju as the new Elemosho of Igbetiland while Chief Bashir Bello emerged as the new Olonko of Igbetiland.

    The former lawmaker prayed that God will grant the trio the wisdom needed to pilot the affairs of the town in the right direction.
