In the wake of Alhaji Abdul Yekeen Ademola Santos’ untimely passing, the Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Olusola Peter Oluokun, has extended heartfelt condolences to the Santos family and the larger PDP community in Oyo State.
In a statement released to the public, Hon Oluokun expressed his shock and grief over the loss of a “respected leader and dedicated public servant adding that Alhaji Santos’ death “is a deeply felt loss” for the party and the people of Oyo.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with Alhaji Santos’ family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time,” Hon Oluokun said.
“We will forever remember his contributions to the PDP, his tireless efforts to promote peace, and his commitment to making our state a better place for all.”
According to him, members and stakeholders of PDP in Oyo East and other communities have been paying condolence visit to the family of the deceased . He assured the family of his full support at this time of grief.
The chairman also expressed his heartfelt condolences to Governor Seyi Makinde, recognizing the special bond and friendship the late Alhaji Santos shared with the governor.
“I know that this is a particularly difficult loss for you, Governor Makinde,” Chairman Oluokun said.
“I extend my deepest sympathy to you and your family, as well as all the members of the PDP who were privileged to work alongside Alhaji Santos.”
