A sixteen-year-old girl identified as Toke has been reportedly murdered by yet to be identified assailants at Onikoko area along Ibadan/Oyo express road.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was attacked and killed this Monday and her corpse was discovered on Tuesday.
The Oyo state police command’s public relations officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi who confirmed the incident, said the case was a suspected murder and the perpetrators of the evil act are still at large.
He, however, said the Oyo state commissioner of police, CP Joe Enwonwu has ordered an immediate investigation into the incident.
