Mogaji (Hon.) Olajide Olatoye, popularly known as Big Daddy Sugar, has been appointed as the Coordinator for Lagelu Local Government Area of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Governorship and Presidential Campaign Council in Oyo State.
The appointment was contained in a release made available to the press and signed by Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, the Presidential Campaign Coordinator and Director-General of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council.
Under the new campaign structure, Big Daddy Sugar will serve as the Lagelu Local Government Coordinator, with Mr. Oludayo Gbenro appointed as Deputy Coordinator.
Other members of the Lagelu campaign team include Mrs. Aduke Okewusi, Women Coordinator; Mr. Oyedokun Ilelabayo Yakub, Youth Coordinator; and Dr. Obideji Babatunde, who will serve as Secretary.
The appointment places Big Daddy Sugar at the centre of the APM’s campaign coordination efforts in Lagelu Local Government ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The campaign council is expected to work with party stakeholders, leaders, women, youths and other grassroots structures across Lagelu to coordinate the party’s activities and engagements in the local government.
Big Daddy Sugar (IJAYA LAGELU) is a prominent grassroots political figure in Oyo State and currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Oyo State Governor on BESDA.
