Stakeholders in the electioneering project of Mogaji Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the PDP candidate for Oyo South Senatorial District in the 2023 general elections have commended his doggedness and fighting spirit which gave him a good showing in the election.
The New Media arm of his campaign team lauded Tegbe for running an all inclusive campaign which made him the leading candidate ahead of others before the poll but admitted that the political intrigues that characterized the pre-election day gave opposition party in the State upper hand which made PDP lose in all the three Senatorial Districts.
“The journey to 2027 is not too far, you have what it takes to lead the people of Oyo State.
“You’re a reference point of integrity, service and hope for the common man.
“By all standards, you’re a leader and a gentleman. You’re one of the most sought after politicians in the state, no one has touched lives the way you have been doing despite the temporary setbacks you experienced in 2018 and 2023.
“By age, experiences and exposure, you’re indeed a leader who has commanded honour and respect.
“Don’t lose hope with this setback, you’re destined for greatness, your doggedness and fighting spirit remains unequal.
The group also expressed gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde who gave Tegbe the PDP platform to contest in the 2023 elections.
The group further noted that Tegbe has continued to support the administration of the Governor in his strive to fulfill his reelection campaign and reaffirmed his commitment to the PDP in Oyo State.
