The Oyo State Government, led by His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, approved the recruitment of 181 persons into the Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission.

However, almost one year after the recruitment process was concluded, the government is yet to release the list of successful applicants to the public.

This delay has created anxiety, uncertainty, and frustration among the applicants and their families who participated in good faith.

Recall, that at the 2025 State of the State Address, the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, had approved the recruitment of 181 staff for the Oyo State House of Assembly.

It was announced by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, during the governor’s midterm scorecard presentation held on Friday June 20, 2025 at the Assembly Complex in Agodi, Ibadan.

However, after the recruitment process portal was opened on July 7, 2025 and eligible candidates were shortlisted for CBT exams and those passed were invited to physical interview in October of last since them the Commission and the Oyo State Government haven’t released the list of successful applicants with as much more frustration and challenges for many of the applicants.

We respectfully call on the Oyo State Government and the House of Assembly Service Commission to, as a matter of urgency, publish the list of successful candidates in the interest of fairness, transparency, and public trust.

Thank you very much for always serve as voice for the masses.

    Yours in Struggle,
Teamlead of Oyo P2Youths for Good Governance
