    Arapaja Appreciates Makinde, PDP NWC, Chief Imam, Aare Musulumi and Others that Graced His Mother’s Burial Ceremony

    The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Abiodun Makinde, the national officers of the PDP led by its Acting National Chairman, Senator Illias Damagum , the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland , Edo and Delta, Alhaji Chief Dauda Makanjuola Akinola; and other dignitaries that graced the 8th day fidau prayer and final burial reception held in honour of his late mother, Alhaja Limotallahi Odee Arapaja who died on Wednesday 26th June, 2024.

    Amb. Taofeek Arapaja’s appreciation message was contained in a statement he issued but made available to journalists through his personal assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim.

    Arapaja said: I write to express my deep sense of gratitude to family, relatives, friend, admirers and political associates who, through prayers, calls, gifts and finding time to personally grace and celebrate the life and departure of my beloved mother at the final burial ceremony we held for her at Jogor center on Wednesday 3rd July, 2024.

    My appreciation goes to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde and members of the state executive led by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi, former Governor of Osun state, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, former Deputy Governors Hamid Gbadamosi and Gbolarumi Hazeem, PDP Acting National Chairman, Sen. Illias Damagum and other national officers, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta , Alhaji Chief Dauda Makanjuola Akinola (D- Damak), Hon. Babatunde Tijani, Prof. Sangodoyin, Sen. Gbenga Babalola, Sen. Kamoru Adedibu, Oba Hamidu Ajibade, Oba Tajudeen Ajibola and Dr Saka Balogun.

    Others include, Chief Akinade Fijabi, Alhaja Mutiat Ladoja, Alhaja Modinat Abosede Adedibu, Hon. Abass Adigun Agboworin, Hon. Anthony Adepoju, Alhaji Adebisi Oloooeyan, Otunba Seye Famojuro, Hon. Awoleye Dada and all the lawmakers from the Oyo state House of Assembly under the Speaker, Rt Hon. Edward Ogundoyin. Alhaji Babatunde Ologburo, Her Excellency, Alhaja Mutiyat Ladoja, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and Mogajis from Ibadan land

    My appreciation would be incomplete without appreciating all members of the planning committee led by Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, Hon. Adegbite Adedamola, Hon. Yinka Omikunle, Hon. Modiu Opeyemi, Sunday Babatunde and others for their support and ensuring a befitting burial ceremony was put in place.”

    Amb. Arapaja who said that he won’t take each individual’s contribution and love for granted, prayed God to reward each individual with long life and fulfilment of their silent supplication from God Almighty.
