The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has felicitated with a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council, Senator Monsurat Jumoke Sunmonu on the occasion of her 66th birthday anniversary today.
In a birthday congratulatory message issued by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim he described the celebrant as a vibrant and dynamic woman who has made outstanding contributions to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Arapaja described Senator Monsurat Sunmonu as an exceptional politician, inspiring leader and invaluable mentor to many aspiring politicians whose guidance, wisdom and unwavering support have not only shaped the state but have also created an environment where individuals are motivated to strive for excellence everyday.
Alhaja Monsurat Sunmonu’s journey, from being the first female Speaker in Oyo State, as distinguished Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and now as a member of the Governor’s Advisory Council speaks volumes of her dedication and influence in shaping the Nigerian political space.
Therefore, on behalf of my family and the entire People’s Democratic Party in the southern part of Nigeria, I joined others in celebrating her impact, leadership and legacy.
