Arapaja Oladejo Taofeek , being an established politician has produced many distinguished personalities as graduates of his political tutelage. He has demonstrated through his faith and teachings that power belongs to the Almighty alone and He is the Supreme being who gives power to who he likes .
His Felele residence is a mecca of sorts to politicians and the downtrodden who besiege the place to seek different forms of assistance and supports. Oluomo is indeed a blessing to his generation nay mankind. He has on several occasions stood for the masses, he has championed the cause of the oppressed not only in politics but in the larger society.
Arapaja is well read, a UK – trained financial administrator and an alumni of the University of Wales. He has held several political positions since 1992 when his adversaries were still toddlers.
He began his career as a member of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission and an aspirant of the House of Representatives in 1992. He was elected twice as council chairman in 1992 and 1996 respectively, and served as a member of the House of Representatives between 2003 to 2007.
Arapaja also served as deputy governor between 2007 to 2011. An Ambassador of two different sovereign states – Jordan and Iran. He was elected PDP Vice Chairman, South West and later Deputy National Chairman (South) of the party, the position he holds till date.
Oluomo has paid his dues in politics. He has served humanity selflessly and meritoriously. He has no doubt carved out a niche for himself in the political landscape of Oyo State nay Nigeria with his intimidating credentials. None of his detractors could match his political prowess cum sagacity.
