It is no longer news that on Friday, 19 February, 2021, Ogbeni Aregbesola stormed his hometown, Ilesa to participate in the ongoing APC revalidation and registration exercise where he declared that new entrants such as Killers and miscreants have joined the Ruling Party, All Progressives Congress and reminded his audience about the sad loss of Bola Ige.
He also declared that whoever denigrates Bola Ige is the enemy of the Progressives and those who want to use Bola Ige’s tomb to climb to a higher height would not achieve their aim.

While the Progressive Camp will continue to appreciate Chief Iyiola Omisore’s led Social Democratic Party successful Coalition and historic Alliance with the Ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) towards the 2018 Gubernatorial Rerun election in Osun State, the achievements of Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, the Honourable Minister of the Ministry of Interior and the immediate past Governor of Osun State could not be quatified.
At presently and to the best of our knowledge, there is no rift or whatsoever between him and his Successor, Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
Now that he had openly expressed his stand on the ongoing registration, we will advise our highly revered Leaders, most especially Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Chief Bisi Akande to quickly intervene towards ensuring that the State Governor, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, plays an effective role of bringing the two sides together in time for the continous Progress of the Party.
We will like to use this opportunity to call the attention of general Public to some related unanimous posts, including the one titled “The Time Bomb” (which we did call our attention to earlier), that are going viral on social media without any attached signatory. It is purely an attempt to cause trouble within the Ruling Party by the Enemies of Progress.
As a Stakeholder on the issue of the Late Cicero, Chief Bola Ige, we throw our full weight behind the advice for Governor Gboyega Oyetola to quickly stem the tide of this current argument within the Party Leadership for good and to the admiration of the general Public
