The newly sworn-in Secretary of Atiba Local Government, Hon Oyelami Oyeyemi has expressed his profound gratitude to God Almighty and the role played by Senator Monsurat Sunmonu on his nomination and appointment as the scribe of the local government.
Hon Oyelami described Senator as an accomplished politician without blemish, an outstanding public servant who has continued to mentor younger politicians on the path of truth and service to humanity.
He further described the first Female Speaker and first Female Senator in the history of Oyo State as the illumination in arena of shadows, hope for the hopeless and mother for the motherless.
He added that Distinguished Senator Monsurat is a political colossus and a democratic matriarch who has laid a solid foundation upon which younger generation in politics is building on.
Hon Oyelami thanked Alhaja Monsurat for counting him worthy to be appointed as Atiba local government scribe to form part of the team that will deliver in entrenching good governance at the grassroot.
He promised to contribute his quota to the development of Atiba Local Government.
