Oyo state Covid-19 decontamination and containment project has flagged-off the process at the Secretariat in Ibadan, the Oyo state’s capital, to contain the Coronavirus Pandemic. Speaking at the flag-off, the Secretary to the State Government, Olubanwo Adeosun, said the decontamination process will be done with technical expertise at the expense of the State Government’s cost. The Oyo State COVID-19 TASK FORCE, this Friday, announced that it has discharged three confirmed COVID-19 patients after receiving their second negative test results. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to five. So, there are currently six active cases. Barely a week after the Oyo State COVID-19 Endowment Fund was set up, donations from corporate organisations, religious groups and individuals from within and outside the State have continued to flow in.
