Ayoka Foundation Trains, Empowers 60 Indigents In Ogbomoso On Indoor Farming

Ayoka Foundation is a non governmental organization saddled with the responsibility of helping the less privileged in the society.

Ayoka Foundation is named after the good mother of the founder and chairman AVM Chief (Dr) JB Adigun (rtd), the Akọgun of Ògbómòsóland.

The organization has been reaching out to many elderly, widows, widowers, orphans and less privileged in the society.

Ayoka Foundation rolled out a comprehensive 3-day indoor training on farming of mushrooms, bee honey, rabbits and snails.

A start-up capital was given to 60 participants cutting across the five LGAs in Ògbómòsó zone.

The participants who were very grateful for the gesture could not hide their joy.

They were encouraged to use the start up capital judiciously to start the project.

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the nongovernmental organization Olusegun Aremu (ASK) made this known.

The COO on behalf of the Founder and Chairman said the empowerment Programme was rolled out to appreciate God for giving Ogbomoso a brand new king Kabiyesi, HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY, OBA GHANDI AFỌLABI LAOYE, THE ORUMOGEGE III, ṢỌUN OF OGBOMOSOLAND* after waiting for almost two years.

The empowerment is to support our Kabiyesi’s vision for Ògbómòsóland.

The COO promised they are going to monitor all the beneficiaries so as to ensure they utilize the funds for the purpose for which it is meant.

ASK appreciates our radio anchor Mr. Soji Abiojela who assisted immensely in ensuring the Programme was a huge success. Mr. Soji Abiojela is the organisation radio Parrot Anchor of Ògbómòsó La wa that holds every Sunday @7pm.
