…Shower Prayers on Oyo APC Governorship Candidate, Sarafa Alli; Prominent Traditional, Market and Political Leaders in Attendance
Traditional rulers, Baales, Mogajis in numbers, market leaders led by the Babaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaji YK Abass, and Iyaloja General of Oyo State, Alhaja Sara Aduke Konibaje, traditional worshippers and political leaders gathered at Ilaji for special prayers in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election and the election of Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli as the next governor of Oyo State.
The gathering attracted a large turnout of traditional rulers, community leaders, market leaders, traditional worshippers and political stakeholders, who defied the rainfall to participate in the special prayers.
The event provided an avenue for the traditional worshippers and other stakeholders to seek divine intervention and offer prayers for the success of President Tinubu’s re-election bid, as well as the emergence of Barrister Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli as the next governor of Oyo State.
The attendance was unimaginably explosive, with traditional rulers, Baales, Mogajis, market leaders and political leaders turning out in large numbers for the historic event.
Also in attendance at the historic event were Araba Ifalere Odudemi Odedola, Araba Ile Ibadan; Oloye Abidoye Kehinde, Araba Egbeda; Oloye Ifabukola, Araba Lagelu; Agbaoye Bayonle Olaifa, Araba Akinyele; Mogaji Igbinsola Sunday, JDS/PBAT State Coordinator; Oloye Egbetade, Aare Isese Ipinle Oyo; Mogaji Abass Oloko; Mogaji Olasomi; Dr Chief Mrs Temitope Akintunde; Engr. Sunday Gbenjo; Dr Amosun, Renewed Hope Coordinator, Oyo State; Mogaji Omotosho Abija; Aare Mogaji Gbogbo Ile Ibadan, Asubiaro; Aare Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori; Oba Kamorudeen Oniladuntan; Chief F B Ige; Otun Alagbaa ti Ile Ibadan; Olu Awo from Kishi, and numerous other distinguished guests and worshippers.
Goodwill messages were delivered at the special prayers event by Alhaji YK Abass and Iyaloja General, Alhaja Sara Aduke Konibaje.
The Olu Isese, Ifalere Odugbemi Odegbola, rendered the “Iwure” (prayers) for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Nigeria, while Olukanmi Egbelade, who is the Aare Isese of the entire Oyo State, prayed for Barrister Senator Sarafadeen Abiodun Alli’s (APC) victory at the coming election.
Also, those who made goodwill messages were Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori, Chief FB Ige, Baale Gbogbo Ile Ibadan, Oba Oniladuntan and a few others.
The prominent Mogaji Abass Oloko gave the vote of thanks and closing remarks.
Cultural performances were staged by numerous bodies such as Baba Oluode, Onijala, Alugbo, Ologboni, Olosun, Oniyemoja, Elegun and numerous others, which further added glamour to the occasion.
Mogaji Nurudeen Akinade coordinated the activities.
