Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, who represents Ibarapa Central and Ibarapa North Federal Constituency, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin on the occasion of his 37th birthday.
Hon. Adepoju, in his birthday wishes titled: “37th Birthday Celebration of a Veteran Speaker,” described Rt. Hon. Adebo as a true servant who has dedicated almost the last decade to serving humanity and the good people of Oyo State.
Ibarapakan said Ogundoyin, as the Speaker of the House, has brought meaning to the Oyo Assembly, noting that his intellectual capacity has enhanced the stability of government and good working relationships among different organs of government in Oyo State.
The legislator praised Adebo’s leadership and governance achievements, citing his election as Chairman of the Nigerian Conference of Speakers last year as proof of his astuteness.
The Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Federal Character emphasised that Hon. Adebo has achieved the status of a role model for the younger generation, adding that the Oyo Speaker is a product of the youth inclusion in governance campaign, reiterating that Governor Makinde has been instrumental in the emergence of young leaders in Oyo State who are excelling in various human endeavours.
Ibarapakan also urged the Oyo Speaker on the occasion of his birthday not to hesitate in using his political experience to raise more brilliant youths to become 21st century visionary leaders, noting that Oyo State is a state of youths and that the world’s current problems necessitate young leaders who are innovative with practicable solutions.
He, however, prayed for more political accomplishments, sound health and longevity as the Ibarapa-born Speaker marks his 37th birthday.
