The executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has lauded the contributions of Hon. Temitope Oladimeji popularly called OTOPE and Dr. Gbola Adetunji, in celebration of their birthdays anniversary.

In a congratulatory message released on Friday, Olatunji extolled the contributions of the celebrants to the development and image of Oyo State, describing them as dedicated public servants and grassroots mobilizers for democratic governance.

Hon. Temitope Oladimeji, the current Director General of the Oyo State Liaison Offices in Abuja and Lagos, was hailed for his strategic role in strengthening Oyo State’s visibility and engagement with both federal institutions and key stakeholders in Lagos.

Olatunji commended his administrative capacity, diplomacy, and commitment to driving the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration’s agenda across state lines.

“Hon. Oladimeji has brought a refreshing level of coordination and purpose to the Liaison Offices and tirelessly worked to bring enhanced visibility to Oyo state at the national level.

“Hon. OTOPE is a friend and a brother to me and I’m proud that we’re well grounded in our shared vision and political ideologies that rest on transformative leadership and democratic governance.

“Being a grassroots politician and mobilizer, his efforts in deepening connections and promoting the state’s interest outside its borders are truly commendable,” Olatunji said.

Also celebrated is Dr. Gbola Adetunji, a distinguished two-term Commissioner in the state and the current board chairman, Oyo State Agency for Control of Aids (OYACA), whose legacy in public service and policy innovation continues to remain a hallmark of commitment in public service.

Olatunji described Dr Adetunji who just turned 76 years old as “a man of vision and excellence,” whose work in previous administrations laid the groundwork for many of the successes Oyo State enjoys today.

Olatunji described Dr Adetunji as a leader of leaders and his personal political mentor who has continued to provide the needed leadership and guidance for the People’s Democrat Party in Oluyole local government.

“Dr. Adetunji remains a beacon of intellect and integrity. His dedication to public service and impact across different sectors cannot be overstated,” the Council boss added.

Olatunji prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and good health for both Hon. Oladimeji and Dr. Adetunji, and wished them more fruitful years in service to humanity and the state.
