The lawmaker representing Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Hon. (Dr.) Anthony Adebayo Adepoju, has described the Ibarapa North Local Government Chairman, Hon. Lawal Lateef Akorede, as a visionary administrator whose leadership style has renewed the hope of not just the people of Ibarapa North but the entire Ibarapa region of Oyo State.
Akorede, who is the Executive Chairman of Ibarapa North, turns a year older on Monday, October 30, 2023.
Congratulating the Ibarapa North local government boss, Hon. (Dr.) Adepoju said Akorede has made excellent progress with the mandate given to him by the good people of Ibarapa North in May 2021 and that his performance is a testament to the potential of young people in leadership positions, adding that the inclusion of youths in governance is essential for the future of Nigeria.
“Since assuming office in 2021, Hon. Akorede has raised the bar of governance through his numerous pro-people’s programmes.
“There is no doubt that his remarkable approach to leadership has earned him a second term ticket, the feat which, by God’s grace, may have given him a spot into breaking the age-long jinx by becoming the first two-term executive chairman of Ibarapa North, which I also believe the good people of the local government will not hesitate to make a reality come 2024 as a way to appreciate his dedicated and selfless service to the local council.” Ibarapakan expressed.
Celebrating the Ibarapa-born industrialist cum politician, Ibarapakan said he would not fail to collaborate with local authorities in the two councils of the Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency in order to achieve true and long-lasting development in the constituency.
While assuring his continued support to the local government administrator, Hon. (Dr.) Adepoju prayed for longevity and sound health as Hon. Akorede marks yet another year on earth.
