Brazilian club Botafago are still interested in signing former Chelsea and Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi.
Botafogo has already made an official proposal and are awaiting Mikel ’s response.
Mikel’s contract with Turkish club, Trabzonspor was terminated last month after he criticised the Turkish league on Instagram.
In a latest development, Botafogo have offered Mikel an offer better than what he received at his last club in Turkey.
He has been offered a deal more than $2million for 18 months contract.
