… Urges Aspirants to Declare Ambitions under PDP
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde has urged his appointees and elected office holders to start preparations for the 2027 general elections.
Makinde gave the directive on Thursday during an Iftar programme organized by the state government at Banquet Hall.
The Governor’s reaction came a day after GoalPoachernews reported that he hasn’t given directions to his appointees and elected officials seeking to contest the 2027 general elections.
“I have read in the news that I haven’t freed those working with me who also have ambitions to contest for offices.
“They now have my grace to mount their billboards and banners.
“They don’t have to be loyal to Seyi Makinde, but to the people of Oyo State and the state’s development.
“They should put the PDP logo on their billboards and banners, we are going nowhere.”
GoalPoachernews learnt that the Governor didn’t order his appointees to resign from their various political positions.
