The leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akinyele local government on Monday unanimously endorsed Hon Victor Olojede as consensus candidate.
Olojede, who is the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde was affirmed as the consensus candidate during high-level stakeholder meeting held at the party’s office at Moniya.
The leaders described Victor Olojede as a loyal party member and key stakeholder in the development of Akinyele local government in general.
The leaders urged other contestants to rally behind Olojede as the consensus candidate.
One of the aspirants who spoke on behalf of others congratulated Victor Olojede on his emergence and further commended the leaders and promised that he and others have agreed to support the candidacy of Hon Victor Olojede in 2027 general elections.
