… Gov Calls For Calm, Says Hardship Will be Over
Protest erupted in Ibadan on Tuesday as labour leaders kicked against economic hardship and called on President Bola Tinubu to the problem of hunger in the country.
In order to ensure that the protest doesn’t degenerate into anarchy, Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde arrived the venue of the protest at Total Garden, along Secretariat road, Agodi, Ibadan.
Makinde while addressing the protesters called for calm noting that the hardship would be over soon.
