The Governor of Oyo State, ‘Seyi Makinde, has approved a minor cabinet reshuffle, which saw the redeployment of Alhaja Faosat Joke Sanni to the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion.
Alhaja Sanni takes over from Honourable (Mrs) Toyin Balogun, who has been relieved of her appointment.
Governor Makinde, while thanking Mrs Balogun for her contributions to the development of the state, wished her success in her future endeavour.
Mrs Sanni, who had earlier served as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion from 2019 to 2023.
She was moved to the Ministry of Special Duties in 2023 before being recently redeployed to the Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment and Cooperative.
The new redeployment takes immediate effect.
