From the outset, Governor Makinde recognised that effective governance hinges on addressing the core needs of the people. One of his standout achievements, thej upgrade of Ladoke Akintola International Airport, serves as a prime example.
Modernising this vital transportation hub is not just about enhancing air travel; it symbolises Oyo State’s strategic positioning as a centre for commerce and tourism. This initiative reflects a broader vision of connecting our communities to the world, creating opportunities that extend far beyond our borders.
In the realm of agriculture, the establishment of the Fasola Agribusiness Hub in Oyo West epitomises the governor’s understanding of sustainable development. By providing resources and support to local farmers, he has empowered individuals and families, fostering food security and economic resilience.
