Ambassador Abdulsabur Abiola Olawore, a governorship aspirant in Oyo State, has expressed deep appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for what he described as a transparent, credible, and well-organized screening exercise conducted for aspirants ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
    ‎
‎Speaking shortly after his appearance before the committee set up by the governor, Olawore praised the process, noting that it reflected Governor Makinde’s commitment to fairness, inclusiveness, and good governance.
    ‎
‎According to him, the openness and integrity demonstrated during the screening are clear indications of the governor’s leadership prowess and dedication to strengthening democratic practices within the state.
    ‎
‎He further commended members of the screening committee for their professionalism, diligence, and impartial conduct throughout the exercise.
    ‎
‎Olawore stated that the committee gave all aspirants equal opportunity and a fair hearing, allowing them to present their credentials, experiences, and vision for the development of Oyo State without bias or undue interference.
    ‎
‎Describing the process as encouraging and reassuring, the aspirant noted that such transparency builds confidence among political actors and strengthens trust in the internal democratic structures of the party and government.
    ‎
‎Olawore also reaffirmed his readiness to contribute meaningfully to the progress of Oyo State, adding that the screening exercise has further motivated him and his supporters to continue engaging stakeholders across the state.
    ‎
‎He concluded by urging continued adherence to fairness and openness in all political processes, describing them as essential ingredients for sustainable development and unity in Oyo State.
