Christmas: Hon Oladeji Oparinde Donates Cash, Clothes, Rice, Chickens To Persons With Disabilities, Widows, Party Faithful, Others In AFIJIO

 

As part of the Christmas celebration, the lawmaker representing Afijio State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Oladeji Oparinde through his non-governmental organization, “Olufunmilayo Oparinde Cares” has put smiles on faces of some widows, persons with disabilities, Local government, ward executives of the Peoples Democratic Party, non-indigenes who are residents in Afijio local government such as Gbagyi, Idoma, Igbo, TIV and Hausa communities with their chiefs and Seriki present.

The event, which was held on Saturday, had excited all the beneficiaries with individual going home with food-items and financial incentives.

The lawmaker said the basis for diligently driving the foundation is derived from the passion and need to impact the lives of underprivileged widows and persons with disabilities who have gone through so much pain and discrimination and might have lost hope.

“We give hope to the hopeless. We are driven to support underprivileged persons in the society to have a positive outlook on life despite the problems they experience by losing their loved one, mostly the breadwinner of the family being discriminated against.

“This is what we do regularly, we have been reaching out to people for some years now.

The beneficiaries while appreciating Hon Oparinde Philanthropy gesture noted that the gifts would go along way to alleviate their sufferings as widows and Persons with disabilities.

Other ethic groups and party members added that the humanitarian and philanthropist hearts of Prince Oparinde would has been moving the downtrodden out of poverty line and they prayed that God continues to assist and bless him abundantly in all his endeavours.
