Coalition for A Better Nigeria congratulates Buhari on jobs creation, Sanwo-Olu @ 55, Gbajabiamila @ 58, Sade Tinubu – Ojo @ 50, mourns Bode Akindele, Ayodele Akele.

It’s with great pleasure we received the good news of appointment of various States’ Committee members, who are saddled with the responsibility of recruiting 1000 Volunteers in each Local Government of the 36 States including Federal Capital Territory, for the Federal Government Public Work jobs, under the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity.

This is another area of Federal Government intervention, apart from the on – going Npower jobs employing between 300, 000 to 500, 000 Youths regularly, towards ensuring drastic reduction in unemployment rate among the teeming Youths in Nigeria

We congratulate President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, for making his campaign promises become a reality in the area of job creation, apart from other key sectors.

We Felicitate with our good Brother, Barrister Festus Keyamo, SAN, the Hon. Minister of State, Labour and Productivity, on this enviable height, and all members of the Committees across the States in Nigeria and Federal Capital Territory, all of whom are industrious men and women of unquestionable characters.

We equally felicitate with these Three (3) Political and Nigerian Market Association’s Legends of our time on their Birthdays’ celebration. Mr Babajide Sanwo – Olu, Rt. (Hon) Femi Gbajabiamila, and Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu – Ojo, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, the Hon. Speaker, Federal House of Representatives and Iyaloja – General of Nigeria, respectively.

Governor Babajide Sanwo – Olu of Lagos State has, since a year a go, demonstrated through his bold dedication, devoting and commitment towards a Better Lagos, that his humble name is now work in progress, as far as Lagos State is concerned. Just like your Predecessors, we assure you of our continued partnership in all spheres of your administration.

We can not talk about A BETTER NIGERIA, without taking Lagos State into consideration as a model of study. It leads, others follow. This is the legacy left behind by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, when he was the Governor of Lagos State between 1999 to 2003, and it has always been consolidated upon by his Predecessors till date.

To Mr Speaker Sir, Comrade Rt. (Hon) Femi Gbajabiamila. Your boldness to reject the National Award of Honour during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, GCRF, as a personal protest against his mal-administration made us to quickly identify you as a Role Model for the Nigerian Youths and Students. We extended our invitation to you, for the alternative, Yoruba National Award, Amuyangan Ti Ile Odu’a, A ROLE MODEL FOR THE YORUBA NATION, whose ceremony was organised by the Grand Council of Yoruba Youths and you gladly showed interest and received in Four Points’ Event Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos State.

You have by this proved beyond every reasonable doubt, to be a Senior Comrade to millions of others in Nigeria and Diaspora and you have not also disappointed us since your assumption of Office, last year June.

Our dear Sister and Partner in Progress for decades, Chief (Mrs) Folashade Tinubu – Ojo, Nigerian Youths and Students are proud of you and your continuous interest in any project that has to do with youth development. No wonder, your name came out yesterday as a member of the Lagos State Selection Committee for the Youths’ recruitment into the Federal Government Public Work jobs, alongside others particularly, Hon Mutiu Are, as Chairman. Double Congratulations here Ma.

The emergence of His Royal Majesty, Oba Sikiru Adetona, Awujale of Ijebuland and Iyalode of Yorubaland, Alaba Lawson as Committee members in Ogun State is highly commendable.

You are all quintessential Politicians, Prominent Nigerians and leading lights in the Nigerian Democratic struggles. To you all, we say Many Happy Returns!

We are saddened by the news of passage to glory beyond, of Chief Bode Akindele, Parakoyi of Ibadanland, foremost Industrialist cum Philanthropist and a Legend of international repute, 88, and Comrade Ayodele Akele, former President, Nigerian Labour Congress, Lagos State Chapter and former Secretary – General of the National Conscience Party (NCP), founded by the Late legal Luminary, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN.

The contributions of both personalities to the Youth Development in Nigeria are enormous. While the former will be remembered for the establishment of various Industries, ARAMED Hospital named after his loving mother, around Toll Gate, Ibadan, which was commissioned by former Governor Lam Adeshina and Bode Akindele Yield Initiatives, at Alomoja, Ibadan, through which several Youths got empowerment, Comrade Ayodele Akele was a Youth Developer of global dimension, through his countless Projects centred on Human Rights’ activism, most especially annual remembrance of the Late Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, among others.

Their lives are worthy of emulation. We therefore commiserate with their Governors, families, friends and associates and pray God Almighty give you all the fortitude to bear these irreparable losses.

May their gentle souls rest in peace, Amen.
