The Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion lends her voice to that of myriad of well wishers who have been showering felicitations and encomia on a former deputy Governor and a leader of note in the PDP ; His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi on the occasion of his birth anniversary .
In her speech forwarded by her media aide she stated as follows:
Hearty birthday cheers to His Excellency Barrister Hazeem Gbolarumi; former Deputy Governor, Barrister- At-Law,a Doyen of Grassroots Politics,a Professor Emeritus from the Adedibu School of Politics , a Political strategist par excellence,father figure,leader and mentor to many myself inclusive.
Politics is always in a constant state of flux.Allies today could become diametrically opposed to one another due to political or deological divides tommorrow based on the exigencies of the prevailing political temperature at any time T.
I have not had the opportunity prior to tell you this Your Excellency( Alh) Hazeem Gbolarumi but I crave your indulgence to utilize this opportunity to let you know that one of my most fulfilling experiences since I dipped my toes in the political field of play from 2012 is having you on the same side of the political divide,both of us,in conjunction with other leaders rallying the charge of our people in support of my Principal; His Excellency Governor Seyi Makinde.This gladdens my heart greatly “tori wipe ibi ti GSM wa ni Olorun wa”
We celebrate today an uncommon leader ,a builder and mentor of outstanding leaders,one whose indelible .
imprint and impact cannot but be traced on the political trajectory of many of the leading lights in the present political space particularly from the Ibadan North local government.
My heartfelt birthday wish for you Excellency sir is that Allah( SWT) cause His Rahmah & Sekinat to shine on you,illuminate your path and grant you many more years lived in good health,comfort and surrounded by your family and loved ones so that we can continue to draw from your wellspring of political sagacity.
