In a stirring testament to selfless leadership and enduring impact, the community of Ifelodun Bolorunduro in Olunloyo, Ona-Ara Local Government Area, Oyo State has bestowed a rare honor upon one of its most esteemed sons—Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE). Renowned for his relentless drive for progress and unwavering commitment to the public good, Dr. OTOPE has been celebrated for transforming lives through quiet, consistent acts of generosity.

The announcement was made through the leadership of the Ifelodun Bolorunduro Landlords/Landladies Association, who described OTOPE as “a man of the people whose impact speaks louder than words.”

Beyond the naming, the community also acknowledged Dr. OTOPE’s recent philanthropic gesture of donating funds for the rehabilitation of the Olunloyo Junction via Oke-Imole Road. Once riddled with potholes and nearly impassable, the road has now been restored to excellent condition—greatly improving mobility and accessibility for all residents and commuters.

“It’s not just about the name,” said one community elder. “It’s about the many things he’s done quietly and consistently for the people. This is our way of showing we see and appreciate him.”

With this singular tribute, Dr. OTOPE’s legacy is etched not only in the very path that now bears his name but also in the hearts and collective memory of a grateful people. His story is a living example of how true leadership leaves footprints—not in sand, but in stone.
