The grassroots mobilisation drive of former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, received another boost as representatives of the Ebira People Community in Oyo State visited him and declared their readiness to work with him in his political journey.

The delegation, representing the Ebira community under the leadership of His Royal Majesty, Oba Lamidi Balogun, was led by Alhaji Chief Dr. A.A. Yusuf.

During the engagement, the community presented Ambassador Arapaja with an Award of Recognition and expressed its support for his political direction. The representatives also indicated their readiness to remain with Arapaja and work with him wherever his political journey takes him.

Addressing the delegation, Arapaja appreciated the community for the recognition and urged them to translate their support into grassroots mobilisation for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He encouraged members of the community to take the message of the party to their respective communities, wards and networks, and to actively canvass support for the APC across the board ahead of the 2027 elections.
Arapaja emphasised the importance of grassroots participation, urging the delegation to engage the people, mobilise support and work collectively for the success of the party.
He said the support being expressed should go beyond mere declarations, stressing the need for members of the community to return to their various areas and actively work for the party.
“I am particularly happy to welcome my brothers and sisters from the Ebira community. Your visit, kind words and expression of support are deeply appreciated, and I do not take your confidence for granted. I urge you to take this commitment to the grassroots, engage your people and canvass for the APC across the board. We must all work together for the success of the party,” Arapaja said.
The former Deputy Governor further reiterated his commitment to building bridges across communities and strengthening relationships among the diverse people of Oyo State.
He thanked the Ebira People Community for the honour and solidarity, while urging them to remain actively involved in the ongoing mobilisation ahead of the 2027 political season.
The engagement forms part of Arapaja’s continuing grassroots consultations and mobilisation efforts across Oyo State as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections intensify.
