COVID-19 HOME GROWN SOLUTION, GOVERNOR MAKINDE VOLUNTEERS TO DONATE BLOOD AS SAMPLE FOR EXPERTS

The Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has volunteered to donate a pint of his blood to medical practitioners who are  researching on “Evaluation of Post Infection Protection Against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria.

The Governor revealed this on his Facebook handle and obtained by GOALPOACHER NEWS. The post reads:

“We have been advocating for local solutions to the COVID-19 pandemic in Oyo State. So, as a COVID-19 survivor, I volunteered to donate my blood to be studied by our experts researching on the “Evaluation of Post Infection Protection Against SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) in Nigeria.”

“let’s continue to reciprocate government gestures by following the  laid down protocols and instructions as provided by authorized government officials and Oyo COVID-19 Taskforce health advisory sub-committee and  take responsibility individually to complement government efforts in order to achieve our collective wellbeing by taking precautionary measures against the spread of COVID-19 in Oyo State.”
