Oyo PDP Chieftain, Hon. Dare Adeleke has said that the victory of Abass Adigun Agboworin at the Election Tribunal, Monday, is an absolute validation of the voice of the people.
He said: “Agboworin representing Ibadan South East and North East in the Federal House of Representatives has again turned out victorious against the forces of destabilization.”
“The people spoke resoundingly through the ballot and Agboworin won by a large margin.
It is therefore ridiculous that anyone at all felt otherwise, however, that is why the election tribunals are in existence and it is most heart warming that they have done the right thing.”
Adeleke congratulated Hon. Agboworin saying that again, he has been tested and again his victory has been validated:
“I wish to congratulate my brother, Abass Adigun Agboworin, a man of honour and proven integrity who puts a human face to politics and politicking.”
Adeleke described Agboworin as a man “who has done a lot for his constituency in terms of development, constituency projects, philanthropy and charity.”
The Oyo PDP Chieftain advised Agboworin to “keep up the good work knowing that the people and the party are firmly behind him.”
