The 2019 Governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, Chief Adebayo Adelabu has commiserated with People of Iseyin over the death of a Progressive Chieftain, Chief Salaudeen Adebayo Adelere.

Chief Adelabu said the progressive fold has lost another Awoist and one of the founding fathers of APC in Oke-Ogun who had contributed his qouta towards the development of the State.

The former CBN Deputy Governor who spoke through one of his Media Aides, Comrade Femi Awogboro said the lofty contributions of late Pa Adelere to ideas and programs on the development of Oke Ogun and Oyo state in general will be greatly missed.

Chief Adelabu described the late Iseyin Born as a great and principled Politician whose space will be difficult to fill.

“It is a big blow for Iseyin, the larger Oke Ogun and and the entire Progressive fold to lose an experienced politician like Pa Adelere at this crucial time. He meritoriously served the state as a local government Councillor and member of the Oyo state House of Assembly between 1979 to 1983” Adelabu said.

He prayed to God to grant the family, the entire people of Iseyin, the larger Oke Ogun and the Progressive fold in the state, the fortitude to bear this Irreparable loss and grant the deceased eternal rest.
