…Backs Alli’s Governorship Ambition

Aspirant for the Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Kazeem Abimbola Olabanji (Abogun), has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to the ruling party, declaring that he remains a loyal member of the APC and has no intention of leaving for any other political platform.

Olabanji made the clarification during a meeting with members of the BSA Professional Support Group, led by its Coordinator, Ambassador Olalekan Akande, and Secretary, Alhaji Ibrahim Olatunji.

Addressing the delegation, the federal constituency aspirant dismissed speculations suggesting that he had defected to the African People’s Movement (APM), stressing that he remains firmly rooted in the APC and committed to the party’s growth and success.

He further emphasized his respect and admiration for the lawmaker representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Senator Sharafadeen Abiodun Alli (BSA), noting that he would not be comfortable engaging in any political activity capable of undermining the senator’s interests.

According to Olabanji, Senator Alli remains a respected leader whose contributions to the development of the party and the state deserve support and appreciation from party faithful.

The meeting provided an avenue for discussions on party unity, grassroots mobilization, and strategies for strengthening the APC ahead of future political engagements.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Alhaji Olatunji Ibrahim, APC stalwart reiterated the commitment of the BSA Professional Support Group to promoting cohesion within the party and supporting initiatives that advance the collective interests of APC members across Oyo State.

The gathering ended with a renewed call for unity among party stakeholders, emphasizing the need for collaboration and mutual respect as preparations for the 2027 general elections gradually gather momentum.
