In a bid to further improve the lives of persons with disabilities in Oyo State, the Director-General of the
Agency For Persons With Disabilities, Barrister Adekanmbi Ayodele, has called on donors and philanthropists to lend their support to the agency.
The agency which was established in less than six months by Governor Seyi Makinde, is to help ensure the rights of persons with disabilities are respected and protected, and to provide a range of services to help them lead fulfilling lives.
With the support of donors and philanthropists, the agency can expand its reach and make an even bigger impact on the lives of people with disabilities in the state.
Adekanmbi noted this while recieving a renowned philanthropist and Jagun Olubadan, Engineer Dotun Sanusi, who is Chief Executive Officer, CEO of Ilaji Farms and Hotel on a courtesy call to his agency.
In his remark, Dotun Sanusi thanked the Executive Governor of Oyo State for creating the agency for coming up with this wonderful idea of inclusiveness and for giving equal opportunities to persons with disabilities by creating the agency for Persons With Disabilities.
He said, Governor Seyi Makinde has set a record, noting that history has been made and prayed that God will continue to His Excellency .
Conclusively , he thanked and encouraged the pioneer team of the agency to work hard in order to build solid foundation.
He assured the the Director-General and his team of his unalloyed support stating that his doors remains whenever the agency needs support in any area.
