Special Adviser to the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Oyo State Branch, Amb. Akande Kazeem Babatunde has felicitated with the Chairman of NYCN, Oyo State, Comrade Abdulsalam Abdulquadri who emerged as the Chairman of Chairmen Steering Committee for the national body of the association.
Abdulquadri’s announcement was made after a long and intensive meeting in Kaduna yesterday where all NYCN chairmen from chapters across the country gathered to examine leadership and developmental issues of the council. Akande while felicitating with Abdulquadri commended his doggedness and commitment to the development of youths in Oyo state and the entire federation.
Akande said that the opportunity given to him is a measure of his dedication to the council and he believes his distinct leadership qualities will be instrumental in implementing policies that will make the lives of youth easier in the country.
Akande further congratulated other members elected as part of the executive committee while promising his utmost support to ensure that their goals as an organisation are achieved.
Akande encouraged Abdulquadri to build relationships with benefactors and philanthropists that will be able to help is vision in his new leadership role.
He concluded by congratulating him and wishing him the very best alongside other executive members.
