The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has felicitated with Christian faithfuls on the Easter celebrations, urging Nigerians to continue in their prayers to recover the nation from the claws of economic hardships and insecurity confronting it.

Ambassador Arapaja in a statement he personally issued and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim said Nigerians at this critical time, must continue to live in harmony and remain law abiding even as the country faces the worst economic hardship in the history of the nation.

According to the statement, “The Easter season has provided yet another opportunity for us as a nation to reflect on our national life and to offer prayers to God to interface and put an end to insecurity and economic hardship the people are facing.

It is my hope that our prayers will usher in a rebirth for our country in all areas of her challenges and give hope to the hopeless.

“As we battle with the situation of uncertainty and insecurity, I urge Nigerians to remain focused and continue to co-habit in unity with the hope that in no distant time, the country will be rediscovered.

I therefore congratulate our Christian faithfuls on the celebration of this season of hope and resurrection of Christ. He prays God to spare our lives to witness more of it in unity and prosperity.” The statement said.
