    Easter/Ramadan: Hon Comforter Distributes Food Palliatives to Residents of Ibadan North Local Government

    In the Spirit of the season, the Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Olajide Olufunke Comforter has begun distributing palliatives on Thursday to Christians and Muslims in order to celebrate this Year’s Easter and Ramadan period.

    The gesture was targeted to reach various beneficiaries daily across Ibadan North Constituency 1 and beyond, utilizing house-to-house distributions to the elderly, as well as to the poorest households, and also to the Religious Leaders, Leaders & Members of the Peoples Democratic Party within and without the constituency she represents.


    Hon. Comforter, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Women Affairs and Community Development, has also attended and participated in the religious exercises and lectures, including Muslim and Christian ones which of course foster harmony and mutual support amongst the Christians and Muslims within her Constituency.

    In Addition, it’s In her plans to distribute more food packs and provisions such as rice, beans, garri and elubo to alleviate the economic hardship in the country.

    Speaking to pressmen, the Lawmaker emphasized the unity between Muslims and Christians during this period and the necessity for joint prayers and support for the country’s needy.

    Beneficiaries from the kind gesture expressed gratitude for Hon. Comforter’s philanthropic efforts over the years, acknowledging her impact on their lives, livelihood and community.
