A prominent indigene of Ona Ara Local Government and former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Hon. Seye Gbaroye, has officially joined the ACCORD Party ahead of the 2027 general elections.



Hon. Gbaroye, after obtaining the party’s expression of interest form, paid a courtesy visit to the Okanlomo Oodua and Bada Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, seeking his blessings and fatherly support for the new political journey.


Speaking during the visit, Hon. Seye Gbaroye described Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi as a visionary leader, philanthropist, and strong pillar of grassroots politics whose contributions to youth empowerment and community development continue to inspire many across Oyo State.


He stated that his decision to join the ACCORD Party was driven by the desire to align with progressive-minded individuals committed to the development of Egbeda/Ona Ara Federal Constituency and Oyo State at large.


Hon. Gbaroye further appreciated the leadership structure of the ACCORD Party for providing a welcoming platform for credible aspirants and promising young leaders to contribute meaningfully to governance and public service.


In his remarks, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi warmly received the delegation and commended Hon. Seye Gbaroye for his courage, political maturity, and commitment to the progress of the constituency.




Chief Sanusi encouraged him to remain focused, dedicated, and people-oriented, emphasizing the importance of unity, service, and grassroots engagement in building a better political future for the people.


The visit further strengthens ongoing political realignments and consultations ahead of the 2027 elections in Oyo State.
